Much like those of us who defend our Apple products or even your favorite potato chip, it seems that the sport beckons a cult-like following. But say what you will about the Crossfit culture. For our shoot with Crossfit 1080, we had the chance to see first-hand, from real people, how accessible this form of exercise is for folks of every age, shape and size. We got to see how it changes lives and builds community, neither of which happen by chance or are very easy. It was really neat content to capture.
We had more directorial control than we have in the past, so it was fun, and somewhat intimidating, to be flexing some new creative muscles. It's a direction we'd like to continue to move in, and figure we will only learn and improve by doing (and of course, by failing).
